We value your data privacy and security. This privacy policy intends to protect you as NCMA members and site users.
Collection, use, and disclosure of personal data
NCMA generally does not collect your personal data unless (a) it is provided to us voluntarily by you directly, or (b) collection and use of personal data without consent are permitted or required by the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) or other laws. We shall seek your consent before collecting any additional personal data and before using your personal data for a purpose which you have not been notified of (except where permitted or authorized by law).
We may collect and use your personal data for any or all of the following purposes:
- Performing obligations in the course of or in connection with our provision of the goods and/or services requested by you;
- Verifying your identity;
- Responding to, handling, and processing queries, requests, applications, complaints, and feedback from you;
- Managing your relationship with us;
- Processing payment or credit transactions;
- Sending you marketing information about our goods or services, including notifying you of our marketing events, initiatives and promotions, surveys, membership, and rewards and other promotions;
- Complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority; and/or,

NCMA does not:
- Permit unsolicited e-mail to be sent to any e-mail addresses published on our website(s). If you aren’t sure who to contact, please refer your question to [email protected].
- Authorize the harvesting, mining, or collection of e-mail addresses published on our website(s).
- Provide technical support to customers or members, nor manage any of our customers’ or members’ e-mail services and applications.

NCMA advises its members and customers to:
- Never respond to spam e-mail.
- Block the sender and/or sender’s domain (@senderscompany.com) in your e-mail program’s spam or junk mail filter.
- Regularly scan and clean your computer for malicious software. Malicious programs such as spyware or adware are known to capture information such as your email addresses on your computer. For more information on this topic, see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spyware.
- Report spam activity to your e-mail provider, network administrator, and Internet service provider.
- Purchase a reputable third-party spam filter program.
Section 889 Compliance
NCMA reviews its technology providers and maintains compliance with Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act, Fiscal Year 2019. Documentation is retained at Headquarters. Agencies that require confirmation may send compliance forms to their NCMA point of contact or to [email protected].
