Next Steps

After you join a Community of Practice it may take up to 24 hours before you have access to the Community in Collaborate.

After 24 hours, log in to Collaborate to make your first post! You will be prompted to log in to your account if you are not logged in already.

Once on the main home page for Collaborate, select The Communities drop-down menu. 

Next, select My Communities. All the communities you are a member of will appear in alphabetical order.

Here are some ways to engage with the discussion board:

• Post a question or an article to get others thinking and connecting around the Community topic you are interested in or would like to know more about.

• Set up a get-together event using the discussion board and meeting/events tool in the discussion board to connect virtually or in-person at an upcoming NCMA event.

• Respond to a post by sharing your best practices, thoughts, opinions, or strategies to solve a problem that may help a fellow NCMA member.
