Experience a deep dive into the development of direct and indirect rates to gain insight into how a contractor develops its price proposal. Discussions will include the creation of multiple fringe rates, differing site rates, material and subcontractor overhead rates, total cost input G&A base vs. value added G&A base, & service centers.
The session will include a review of multiple indirect rate models and provide a take home tool that can be used to assist with pricing proposals regardless of contract type or agency. The discussion will also look at the entire contract lifecycle from pre-award to post-award/contract execution to gain an understanding and appreciation for how pricing decisions may impact the organization's overall contract and financial risk.
